lol Dot’s Diner has the same name as the diner in Canterbury Commons… :)
Yeah, it’s a franchise so they’re scattered throughout the wastes. I actually used one of the existing vanilla diners for this one and made it a location on the map. The other Dot’s Diners were full of raiders or residents. This one is kind of remote so it was easy to make use of it, and it fits the tenor of the quest.

It might be fun to have a poster of Howdy Doody’s sidekick Clara Bell the Clown on the wall of this establishment.
Clowns are the stuff of nightmares though. Although maybe if it was cartoony like this:

Hearing “Gotcha” over and over is very grating on the nerves after just an hour of play time.
Probably additional commands that nonoodles added that weren’t originally part of
her companion options, so she just used whatever she could. I’ll just change a few of those to “no problem” and “all right.”
but as it stands her Guns skill is so low she’s barely able to use the sawed-off shotgun she comes with efficiently.
Actually, Hope’s guns at level 2 are already at 38, and 50 by level 5. By level 30 (her cap) they’ll be 100.
Hope levels 1 to 1 with the player. The vanilla followers are 0.75x player but capped at level 40. I can raise her cap to 40 as well, but adding perks like GunNut would just make her super strong, and she already levels higher than the vanilla folks, just has a lower cap.
I just met him and started using him. You instantly gave him charachter. Good job I will seek out more.

Sweet, glad you like him. Idle commentary on quests and locations will be added in the coming months, depending on when Barry has a chance to record. To answer your question, he doesn’t have a quest at the moment but I’m guessing he will eventually.
Spider(Seward Square Electronics Store) and Chapel(Dickerson Tabernacle) are the two companions with quests atm.
However, some of the other quest mods in the bundle have fleshed out companions as well. Audrey can be recruited by following the questline that starts in Vault 101 and continues with Dempster at the Brass Lantern(doesn’t require a new game but might not make sense without it).
There’s one more major companion, but saying which quest would be spoilery. I will say it’s one of the new locations that shows up on your Pip-Boy, however, as opposed to the ones at vanilla places.
Okay after looking again it appears Hope does have tagged skills, with Guns being one of them. I dunno why JIP CCC didn’t have her skills properly displayed. Sorry about that!

Thanks I will seek them out, quite impressed. I was crashing doing the Regulators bounties with slasher tonight so i left him a way back and when back and got him after. Im having a general crash though with talon looting so it may not be his fault.
